T&Cs

Here's the boring bit ....

Doggie Daydreamz's main priority is to provide a safe, secure, relaxed and happy environment for all dogs, as far as is reasonably possible. We are licensed by Mid Suffolk District Council for daycare for a maximum of 11 dogs at any one time and a copy of the licence can be seen here. We have been given a 4* rating by the Council, as per Animal Welfare Regulations 2018. This is the highest rating we could achieve at the time of inspection in March 2022 because we don’t have more than 3 years history of trading as we only opened the daycare barn in April 2022.

Prior to any booking being considered an initial visit to Doggie Daydreamz must be arranged, as only dogs considered to be well socialised, good off lead and who enjoy the company of other dogs and people will be considered suitable to visit Doggie Daydreamz.  It is very important to us that not only do you like our setup and facilities and that you feel 100% happy leaving your dog(s) in our care but this visit is also to ensure that we can make an accurate initial assessment regarding the suitability of your dog(s). This will include assessing its social behaviour, compatibility with other dogs, nervousness, energy levels, suitability for off lead walks, signs of aggression or unsociable habits and is for the benefit of all dogs who visit Doggie Daydreamz.

Once a dog has been accepted by Doggie Daydreamz an honest and detailed registration form (one per dog) must then be submitted, along with an up to date copy of the dogs vaccination certificate. Please be aware that by the very nature of the service we provide there are certain risks involved when dogs are put in an unfamiliar environment, interact with other dogs and meet new people. Therefore, by completing and signing our registration form you are agreeing to our following terms and conditions: Any changes to a registration form (contact details, behavioural issues etc) should be advised in writing.

No dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or the Dangerous Wild Animal Act 1976 will be accepted at Doggie Daydreamz.

Due to the close proximity of our neighbours and in order to avoid any unnecessary noise disruption, our licence for daycare only permits drop offs and collections between the the hours of 8:00 - 9:00 am and 5:00 - 6:00 pm.

All dogs must be microchipped.

All dogs must have an up to date vaccination certificate, a copy of which must be provided with the registration form and on annual renewal. This must include cover for: Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Canine Parvovirus, Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Even though every effort is made to ensure a safe and clean environment at Doggie Daydreamz, any dog could still contract Kennel Cough and Doggie Daydreamz will not be held responsible. The last vaccination of the initial course must be completed at least two weeks prior to the first date of visiting Doggie Daydreamz.

All dogs must have regular and up to date veterinary approved worm, flea and tick treatment.

Doggie Daydreamz only accepts neutered dogs (both male and female), however, unneutered puppies up to the age of approximately 10 months will be assessed and may be accepted at Doggie Daydreamz’s discretion.

Doggie Daydreamz is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged toys, leads, collars, beds, tags, clothing or any other item left with a visiting dog. Owners are liable for all damages and subsequent costs or claims to any property of Doggie Daydreamz’s, if caused by their dog whilst visiting.

Dogs will be walked off lead whilst on Doggie Daydreamz’s property, unless an owner specifically requests otherwise or a dog’s behaviour off lead is considered unsuitable.

Doggie Daydreamz has Public Liability insurance cover and a copy of the certificate is available to see at the premises or on request.

Any dogs displaying signs of aggressive or unsociable behaviour (possessiveness, excessive barking,  sexual harassment, marking etc), may be isolated until such time as they can be collected.  If necessary, Doggie Daydreamz reserves the right to use a local kennel facility, at the owner’s expense, for such isolation. Doggie Daydreamz reserves the right to refuse or terminate the contract of any dog, or owner, who displays aggressive, destructive or unreasonable behaviour and there will be no refund for any dogs that have their stay terminated early.

Doggie Daydreamz reserves the right to refuse any dog to visit at any time, without prior warning.

Doggie Daydreamz’s approved vets is Cedarwood Veterinary Practice, Stowmarket.

Doggie Daydreamz does not accept any responsibility for the death, loss, injury or illness of a dog whilst in their care. Owners are strongly advised to make sure their dogs are insured for all eventualities.

In the event of a dog being injured or involved in an accident or emergency, Doggie Daydreamz will make every endeavour to contact the owner and/or their emergency contact, to inform them of the situation and for their instructions. If the owner cannot be reached but veterinary treatment is required, the dog will be taken to either the owner’s veterinary practice or Doggie Daydreamz’s approved vet, whichever is closest. Full responsibility for the medical treatment and costs, including mileage and time, of any injuries or illness that a dog receives, will be the owners and such costs will be reimbursed immediately before collection of the dog.

Dogs showing signs of disease or illness will not be accepted at Doggie Daydreamz. However, if a dog should become ill during their visit, it will be isolated from any other dogs until veterinary advice is obtained from Doggie Daydreamz’s approved vets.  Any resulting actions, including mileage and time, will be at the full expense of the owner and must be settled before collection of the dog.

Owners must provide all food with full feeding instructions for any dogs that require feeding during the day.

Owners must provide all medication, with full dosage and administration instructions, for any dogs that require medication during the day.

For regular daycare dogs, invoices will be issued monthly in advance on the last Monday of each month. Once the invoice is issued a non refundable or transferable 50% deposit will be due with immediate effect, via BACS transfer to confirm the bookings.  Balance fees are then due for payment before or by the time of drop off and commencement of booking, via BACS transfer.

If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the start of a booking, there will be no refund and the full balance fee will still be payable.

A month’s notice is required to cancel any regular daycare spot.

Doggie Daydreamz reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions, the opening hours and prices at any time, without prior notification. It is the owner’s responsibility to check them on a regular basis here at Doggie Daydreamz’s website: www.doggiedaydreamz.co.uk.

Provision of any services implies you have understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
